I did it!

OK, I am somewhat computer-challenged, but I have managed to add a picture, AND give this little blog a much more awesome headline (if that's what it's called). Oh, so much more is coming soon. I promise. On the same note, my etsy shop is looking much prettier as well... no items yet, but they're on their way. I just have to sort out some shipping details.

Progress

Progress is happening. I've registered on etsy.com. Got my paypal account organized. Played around with making a banner on powerpoint. Still waiting on some admin kind of stuff.

On the weekend I worked on some of my designs. It was really fun to get the patterns and plans organized, and soon the aprons, skirts, purses maybe, tote bags, will begin to take shape. Saturday night I stayed awake until after 2 am imagining how everything would look. It's too bad that I can't actually sew as fast as I think!

A New Direction

This blog (and I) am headed in a new direction. It has been a LONG time since I last posted, and I have undergone several changes. For one, I actually got back to a goal weight with Weight Watchers. OK, it's at the top of the range, but that's fine for now. At the beginning of 2007 I started working for WW, first as a receptionist, and now as a leader. I lead four meetings... 2 at works and 2 at a center location. It's fun, but can be frustrating and annoying at times.

I'm also about to register and open an etsy shop. If you've never browsed through the etsy.com website, it's awesome. And it should fit right in with what I love to do... sew stuff. I've finished almost all the window treatments for my house, Kyle is about to graduate from high school, and I will have lots (LOL) of time on my hands to just make things. I'm hoping to have my site up and running in 1-2 weeks, but I'm waiting for a few administrative things to come through.

Once I get that going I'll have lots more links, photos, etc on the blog to make it more exciting. Stay tuned.
